Jade Smarda, President

Jade Smarda is an attorney at Faruki Ireland & Cox, P.L.L., a Dayton-based complex business litigation firm. After graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree in English Literature and French, Jade earned her law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio Women's Bar Association, and various other legal organizations. Actively involved in the community, Jade volunteers her time to advise the mock trial teams of the Dayton Early College Academy and the University of Dayton School of Law. She is a supporter of the arts, and developed an appreciation of ballet from watching Gene Kelly musicals during her childhood. Email Jade

Jim Butler, Past President

Jim Butler is an attorney at the law firm of Thompson Hine, L.L.P. Jim graduated from the United States Naval Academy in the top 10% of his class. After graduating from flight training first in his class, Jim flew the F-14 Tomcat Fighter. In 1996, He received his Master's in History from the University of Maryland, and in 2005, concluded his law degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Jim is a member of the American Bar Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Joslin Diabetes Center Advisory Committee, the City of Oakwood Rotary Club and the Toastmasters International. Megan Rehberg, Vice President & Barre Event Committee Chair

Megan is the Grants Administrator and an adjunct professor in the School of Education at the University of Dayton. She graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, with a Bachelor's in Political Science in 2006, and from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2009. In addition to her involvement with the Dayton Ballet, she sings with Musica!, a professional vocal ensemble, and volunteers at the law school, helping to organize volunteer opportunities for students. Enrique Rivera, Secretary

Enrique Rivera-Cerezo is an attorney currently working as a solo practitioner. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science at the University of Dayton. In 2009, he concluded his Law degree from the University Of Dayton School Of Law. Enrique is also a member of the Dayton Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. Email Enrique

Will Bach, Treasurer

Will grew up in Indianapolis Indiana. He graduated from Franklin Central High School (Indianapolis) in 2000. He went on to Purdue University where he played football and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law and Society. After college, he moved to Indianapolis and served 4 1/2 years with the Beech Grove Police Department. While on the police department, Will served on the Pension Board, Interview Board for new hires, and the Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) as a DUI Investigator. While serving as a police officer, Will took night classes and got his MBA in Finance from Indiana Wesleyan University. He also began working part-time in the investment industry getting licensed all while working full-time as a police officer. After finishing his MBA, Will was offered a position with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to work in either Indianapolis, Cincinnati, or Dayton. Will chose Dayton as his wife grew up in the Miamisburg area. Will and his wife presently reside in their home located in Miamisburg. Will also is active in serving on the SICSA (Society for Improvement and Condition of Stray Animals) Board, Dayton History Bell Board, and is active in Generation Dayton. Email Will

Rhonda Borgerding, Marketing Coordinator

Rhonda is a Consultant at InterbrandDesignForum in Dayton, Ohio. She is a two-time Wright State University graduate having received her BS in Marketing in 2004 and her MBA in International Business in 2007. In addition to being the Marketing Chair of the Associate Board, Rhonda is the current Chair of the Montgomery County Young Republicans and is also very actively involved in the Dayton Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Wright State Alumni Association. Rami Odeh, Recruiting Coordinator & Casino Royale Committee Chair

Rami moved to the Dayton area 5 years ago from California to attend the University of Dayton. After graduating with a BS in Accounting in 2009, he launched 3 Course Delivery based out of Dayton,OH. While attending the University of Dayton, Rami founded the Investment Club and was a member of the Finance Club. Susan Cornett, Fundraising Coordinator

Susan Cornett is an attorney with Thompson Hine LLP focusing on commercial real estate. Susan received her law degree and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati in 2004, and also completed her undergraduate degree in Industrial Management at the University of Cincinnati in 2001. In addition to the Associate Board, Susan is a member of the Foodbank Associate Board and the Dayton Bar Association. Email Susan

Shayne Petty, Sales Coordinator

A subscriber to the Dayton Ballet, Shayne Thomas Petty has a burning passion for the arts, as well as for the change he seeks to implement in the Dayton community. Shayne is a Theatre Studies major at Wright State University, and he hopes to go to Graduate school for Drama Education. Shayne is currently the Community Development Intern for the SEED theatre project. He also is a member of the International Thespian Society and has participated actively with the Ohio Educational Theatre Association, performing in several shows, competing in pantomime competitions, and directing a piece he authored. Most recently, Shayne taught as a workshop instructor at the OEdTA's 2010 State Thespian Conference. Shayne has been seen in theatrical productions throughout the Miami Valley and across the state performing with Northmont High School's Theatre and Music departments, Ashland University's Theatre and Music departments, Wright State University's Film and Music Departments, as well as Wright State's Jubilee Theatre Directing Lab, The Brookville Community Theatre and The Dayton Playhouse. Shayne has also worked in ticket sales, with experience working at Ashland University's Central Box Office and the Victoria Theatre Association's box office Ticket Center Stage. Email Shayne
