Membership Levels Become A Member

Want to make a bigger impact? Volunteering for the Dayton Ballet's Associate Board is a prestigious way to showcase your leadership skills. You will be invited to play a role in Board meetings, create & plan Barre and Board events, interact with Ballet staff, connect with fellow students, parents, new friends, and create a new audience for dance in Dayton. All Associate Board members get the same benefits as Barre members, and a little more in thanks.

Don't worry, you can start small and work into bigger responsibility. We're all here to share the load. There are many ways to participate, even for those with limited time.

Regular Board membership includes: attendance at more than half of our Monthly Meetings, a role on a Committee of your choice, attendance at one Ballet in your first year, 2 Ballets in subsequent years.

Committee Only members may not be able to get to the monthly meetings, but will attend and take a larger role in Committee work, and are required to attend 2 Ballets each year.

Parent's Board

Many Young Professionals aren't just juggling jobs – find friends and educate/entertain your kids while working on this special committee with its own meetings. Attend 2 Ballets a year with your Barre Discount and share the love of the Nutcracker with your children.

Student's Board

Even college students want to be a part of the larger Dayton community, and we want to capture you – your imagination, your energy – and give you a taste of professional leadership. We think you'll like it.
